Community Foundations are public foundations, making grants to improve the quality of life of the people within their geographic range. “Philanthropy in Action,” leadership training, the education initiative, strengthening neighbor-hoods, and the “Challenge Grant” program are major projects of the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay that help accomplish that goal. Friends of Resurrection House

Several Family foundations, preferring to remain anonymous, have supported Resurrection House for many years. Foundations are a wonderful way to carry on or leave a legacy for those who would like to continue supporting organizations that carry on the values and services important to them during their lifetimes. These truly are fits that keep on giving.


Founded in 1970 by Joseph H. Chambers, Chambers Law Group, P.A. practices personal injury litigation in all state and federal courts including automobile, products liability, premises liability and professional negligence. The firm is currently staffed with the founder’s two sons, Joseph W. Chambers and Jeffrey K.
